Ghost - feel it gets acquired by Feelbelt!

To our friends and customers: Today I am pleased to announce that we are joining forces with Feelbelt and have entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired. The last three years have been an incredible journey for Ghost – feel it, full of ups and downs. But none of this would be possible without our amazing team and our customers and supporters. We couldn’t have done it without you. We started 3 years ago with the idea to make amputees feel their prosthesis by utilizing the power of the brain’s sensory substitution and advanced haptic feedback. This led us on our journey to shift focus from developing haptic feedback from a technological problem to a user centered perceptual problem and lead to our software solution to create advanced  haptic feedback only with a few clicks.   When we started, we couldn’t have imagined that only 3 years later we would be in negotiations with over 50% of the biggest automotive players in the world. We drive innovation with major global players in an industrial setting. Thanks to everyone who supported us and believed in us on this journey!  Our Co-Founder Laura Bücheler Buecheler will take on the new role as Chief Innovation Officer and utilize her experience and strategic thinking to bring new innovations to life.  Feelbelt created a haptic belt that can translate 10 - 20.000 Hz frequencies to perceived haptic sensations. Thanks to their patented audio-to-haptic technology, they are a strong partner in the gaming and VR industry. Combining our competences will open up new possibilities for customized HD-haptic applications in both B2B and B2C environments and bringing haptic feedback to the Metaverse. Both Ghost - feel it. and feelbelt share a vision to change the world by allowing you to interact not only via sight and hearing, but using the possibilities of haptic feedback.  We will be sharing more on our joint projects in the coming months. The possibilities are endless and we are only just getting started… :) Stay tuned!
